ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi<\/a> has announced to work together with the federation for peace and said that whoever martyrs our soldiers is a terrorist, there is no option but to eliminate terrorism.<\/p>\n

Talking to journalists, the KP Chief Minister said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police is fully qualified and has full capacity to deal with terrorists, I have approved the purchase of modern equipment for the police.<\/p>\n

He said that if the federation pays the dues, we can bring further improvements in all sectors including police and health, a forensic lab will be established in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n

In response to a question, the KP Chief Minister said that the PTI is doing something, only then the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gave them a third chance, the current Chief Secretary and IG are doing an excellent job, I want the current IG to continue working.<\/p>\n

On the question regarding the allegations of corruption in Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi said, “I invite the federal government to audit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but also pay our dues. If my brother is also involved in corruption, he should be punished.”<\/p>\n

Sohail Afridi said that terrorism has affected every sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Whoever martyrs our youth is a terrorist. I will support the federal government for the sake of peace. We will not compromise on law and order.<\/p>\n

He said that instructions have been given to enact legislation at the provincial level to punish terrorists. We want to eliminate loopholes in the anti-terrorism laws.<\/p>\n

In response to a question, the Chief Minister of KP said that political differences should not cause any inconvenience to the people of the provinces. Junaid Akbar’s statement regarding water shutdown was wrong. There is no option but to eliminate terrorism.
