They <span class=\"diff-highlight\">explained<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">incoming<\/span> system could <span class=\"diff-highlight\">relieve<\/span> drought conditions in Zhob, Sherani, Musa Khel, Barkhan, Kohlu, Sibi, Lasbela, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Awarande<\/span>, Kech, Gwadar, Panjgur, Khuzdar, Qila Saifullah, Chagai, Noshki, Washuk, and Mastung.<\/p>\n<p>Some <span class=\"diff-highlight\">areas<\/span> may receive heavy <span class=\"diff-highlight\">rainfall<\/span>, while <span class=\"diff-highlight\">snowy<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">precipitation<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">likely<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">accumulate<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">at<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">high<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">altitudes<\/span>. Experts <span class=\"diff-highlight\">affirmed<\/span> that <span class=\"diff-highlight\">north<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">western<\/span> winds are <span class=\"diff-highlight\">tentatively<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">considered<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">more<\/span> active this year, and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">persistent<\/span> moisture from the Arabian Sea will <span class=\"diff-highlight\">encourage<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">an<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">extended<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">period<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> rainy <span class=\"diff-highlight\">conditions<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>They added that <span class=\"diff-highlight\">rains<\/span> may <span class=\"diff-highlight\">also<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">assist<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">replenishing<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">dams<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> groundwater <span class=\"diff-highlight\">levels<\/span> across the province. The forecast has raised <span class=\"diff-highlight\">some<\/span> cautious <span class=\"diff-highlight\">optimism<\/span> among <span class=\"diff-highlight\">farmers<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">rural<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">communities<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">as<\/span> farmers and rural communities <span class=\"diff-highlight\">are<\/span> facing a <span class=\"diff-highlight\">serious<\/span> water shortage.<\/p>\n<p>In <span class=\"diff-highlight\">various<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">places<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">villagers<\/span> gathered in mosques to offer voluntary <span class=\"diff-highlight\">begging<\/span> prayers for relief and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">replenishment<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">their<\/span> water <span class=\"diff-highlight\">supply<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The Met Department <span class=\"diff-highlight\">warns<\/span> the public to stay <span class=\"diff-highlight\">vigilant<\/span>, especially in locations near streams and seasonal water channels. Officials warned that heavy rain could <span class=\"diff-highlight\">produce<\/span> flash flooding.
