ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court (FCC<\/a>) has announced 200 vacant posts.<\/p>\n

A notification has been issued to fill the vacant posts in the Federal Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n

Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court Aminuddin Khan has approved vacant posts from Grade 2 to Grade 22.<\/p>\n

It has also been decided to establish registries of the Federal Constitutional Court in all four provinces.<\/p>\n

Justice Amir Farooq said that provincial registries will be established across the country. So that the public can get the facility of filing constitutional cases in their own provinces.<\/p>\n

He said that it has also been decided to provide a video link facility in the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n

The Constitutional Court is still in the transition phase and will soon become fully functional and play its role.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the<\/span>\u00a0Federal Constitutional Court<\/a>\u00a0(FCC)\u00a0publicized<\/span>\u00a0its winter vacation\u00a0dates<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0when<\/span>\u00a0it<\/span>\u00a0will\u00a0be<\/span>\u00a0closed from December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026. Hearings are\u00a0set<\/span>\u00a0to\u00a0restart<\/span>\u00a0on January 5, 2026.<\/p>\n

Based<\/span>\u00a0on<\/span>\u00a0the official notification,\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0court\u2018<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0offices will\u00a0be<\/span>\u00a0open<\/span>\u00a0throughout<\/span>\u00a0the vacation period, and hearings for urgent and previously scheduled cases will\u00a0proceed<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Federal Constitutional Court was established under the 27th Constitutional Amendment\u00a0for<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0purpose<\/span>\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0enhancing<\/span>\u00a0Pakistan\u2019s judicial system and the protection of constitutional rights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
