{"id":92424,"date":"2025-11-29T15:57:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-29T10:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=92424"},"modified":"2025-11-29T15:57:26","modified_gmt":"2025-11-29T10:57:26","slug":"price-revealed-for-new-pakistan-super-league-teams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/price-revealed-for-new-pakistan-super-league-teams\/","title":{"rendered":"Price revealed for new Pakistan Super League teams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The expected reserve price for a new<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/psl-2026-schedule-sparks-deadlock-between-pcb-and-franchises\/\"> PSL franchise<\/a> is likely to be set at around Rs. 1.25 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to finalize decisions on two new teams in January.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the reserve price may even exceed Rs. 1.25 billion, with multiple domestic and international firms showing interest.<\/p>\n<p>Additional, five major companies, including businesses from the real estate and solar energy sectors, both with a history of supporting cricket, have stepped forward.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, two U.S.-based entrepreneurs and investors from the U.K. and another European country are also expected to participate in the bidding process.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submitting technical proposals is 15 December 2026, and only bidders who meet the required qualifications will move on to the next stage.<\/p>\n<p>The auction for two new franchises will take place on 6 january 2026.<\/p>\n<p>PCB has shortlisted six cities Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, and Gilgit, from the successful bidders will select their home venues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The expected reserve price for a new PSL franchise is likely to be set at around Rs. 1.25 billion.
