ISLAMABAD: The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment<\/a> has issued a public warning advising citizens against dealing with travel agencies that claim to arrange foreign work visas.<\/p>\n

As the advisory elucidates, such agencies have no legal link with overseas work visas and must not be paid any amount for job-related processing.<\/p>\n

The Bureau reminded that employment opportunities abroad could only be granted by licensed Overseas Employment Promoters.<\/p>\n

Citizens have been advised to check registered recruitment agencies through the official list available on the Bureau’s website at [www.beoe.gov.pk\/list-of-oeps] before entering into any transaction.<\/p>\n

Azad Visa Update<\/h2>\n

A day earlier, the Bureau issued a public advisory regarding the “Azad Visa” of foreign countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n

The Bureau has clarified that no foreign country offers any legal category known as “Azad Visa.” All work visas are tied to a particular company, sponsor, or firm, and legally, the workers are obliged to serve only the employer with whom they have signed an official contract.<\/p>\n

It explained that many of the Gulf countries strictly ban the concept of a free visa, although some nations do permit a limited change in sponsorship under certain legal conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
