The spokesperson warned that lane violation in fog can lead to dangerous and life-threatening incidents.<\/p>\n<p>Syed Imran Ahmed urged road users to strictly follow lane discipline and avoid unnecessary travel during foggy weather. He advised motorists to prefer traveling during daylight hours, adding that the safest time to travel in fog is between 10 am and 6 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The Motorway Police further directed drivers to ensure the use of fog lights, avoid speeding and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front to avoid collisions. Motorists were also reminded to be careful and patient while driving in low visibility conditions.<\/p>\n<p>For further guidance, updates or assistance, commuters are advised to contact the Motorway Police helpline on 130.
