{"id":94413,"date":"2025-12-18T10:09:03","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T05:09:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=94413"},"modified":"2025-12-18T10:09:03","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T05:09:03","slug":"weather-update-pmd-forecasts-rain-and-snowfall-across-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/latest-news\/weather-update-pmd-forecasts-rain-and-snowfall-across-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"Weather update: PMD forecasts rain and snowfall across Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/pmd-forecasts-heavy-rain-snowfall\/\">PMD<\/a>) has forecast the entry of a western weather system into the country, bringing chances of rain and snowfall in several regions.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Met Office, Islamabad is expected to experience cold weather with partly cloudy skies today, while Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas will remain cold and dry.<\/p>\n<p>Fog is likely to persist in several cities of Punjab, including Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalnagar, Okara, Sahiwal, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Kasur, Khanewal, Khanpur, Kot Addu, Layyah, and Bhakkar.<\/p>\n<p>In Balochistan, most districts are expected to experience cold weather with partly cloudy skies. Fog has been forecast for Sukkur, Rohri, Shikarpur, Kashmore, and Mohenjo-daro.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Foggy conditions are also expected at a few places in Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, and Dera Ismail Khan.
