{"id":94569,"date":"2025-12-19T15:04:47","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T10:04:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=94569"},"modified":"2025-12-19T15:11:00","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T10:11:00","slug":"punjab-to-issue-all-environmental-permits-digitally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-to-issue-all-environmental-permits-digitally\/","title":{"rendered":"Punjab to issue all environmental permits digitally"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: All environmental approvals, laboratory certifications, and protection orders will be issued only under the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/technology\/pakistan-needs-to-ban-free-vpns-to-strengthen-digital-security\/\">digital system<\/a> e-FOAS.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure transparency and legal effect in the environment sector in Punjab, the Punjab Environment Protection Authority has taken a major administrative decision.<\/p>\n<p>According to DG Environment Imran Hamid Sheikh, issuance of environmental laboratory certification, environmental approvals under Section 12, and environmental protection orders under Section 16 will be possible only through e-FOAS.<\/p>\n<p>Environmental recommendations related to import licenses will also be issued completely through the digital platform.<\/p>\n<p>Unique reference number and QR code will be mandatory on each document, and the document issued outside the digital system will be illegal and void.<\/p>\n<p>In case of violation, departmental action will be taken against the concerned officer or signatory.<\/p>\n<p>After the implementation of the digital system, all commissioners, deputy commissioners, industrial establishments, chambers of commerce, and EPA-certified laboratories have been directed to immediately implement the orders.<\/p>\n<p>The notification will come into effect immediately and will remain effective until amended or withdrawn.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: All environmental approvals, laboratory certifications, and protection orders will be issued only under the digital system e-FOAS.
