ISLAMABAD: The leading American newspaper, The Washington Times<\/a>, has termed 2025 as the year of revolutionary change and decisive turning point in Pak-US relations, saying that an extraordinary change has taken place in Washington\u2019s South Asia policy, under which the \u201cIndia First\u201d era has practically ended and Pakistan has gained a clear advantage.<\/p>\n

According to the newspaper, a surprising change was seen in former US President Donald Trump\u2019s Pakistan policy, the basis of which was the short but intense Pakistan-India war in May. The report says that this incident changed the course of US policy and reshaped the strategic map for the region.<\/p>\n

According to the Washington Times, the article also includes a detailed analysis of the relationship between Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and US President Donald Trump. The report says that Pakistan, which was considered an undesirable state for the US in the past, has now become a partner country, while the rapid change in US opinion about Pakistan is a rare and unique event.<\/p>\n
