{"id":95528,"date":"2025-12-28T12:24:25","date_gmt":"2025-12-28T07:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=95528"},"modified":"2025-12-28T12:24:25","modified_gmt":"2025-12-28T07:24:25","slug":"strict-security-plan-prepared-for-new-years-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/strict-security-plan-prepared-for-new-years-night\/","title":{"rendered":"Strict security plan prepared for New Year&#8217;s Night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: A strict security plan has been prepared for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/three-day-holiday-announced-for-islamic-new-year\/\">New Year&#8217;s Night<\/a>, violators will be punished.<\/p>\n<p>Punjab Police has completed a security plan to ensure law and order for New Year&#8217;s Night, IG Punjab Usman Anwar has directed to increase security across the province including Lahore on New Year&#8217;s Night.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police spokesperson, more than 25,000 police officers and personnel will perform security duty across the province on New Year&#8217;s Night, while more than 5,000 police officers and personnel will be deployed in Lahore alone.<\/p>\n<p>Activities will be monitored through CCTV cameras across Punjab, including Lahore, IG Punjab has directed the police to remain on high alert and keep a close watch on anti-national elements.<\/p>\n<p>IG Punjab Usman Anwar said that one-wheeling, aerial firing and rioting will not be allowed on New Year&#8217;s Night, mischievous elements who harass women and citizens will be taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>IG Punjab Usman Anwar has directed to ensure coordinated traffic arrangements on New Year&#8217;s Night, Dolphin Squad, Peru, Elite Force, PHP teams have also been directed to increase patrolling on roads and highways.<\/p>\n<p>IG Punjab has said that search and sweep operations should be continued regularly in all cities including Lahore.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: A strict security plan has been prepared for New Year&#8217;s Night, violators will be punished.
