Her lawyer, Ali Changaizi Sindhu, informed the court that she was indeed staying in Pakistan illegally as her visa had expired in November 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The LHC has asked the authorities for a report on her status. This follows a petition filed by former Member of the Provincial Assembly Muhindar Paul Singh through Mr. Sindhu.<\/p>\n<p>The Indian national came to Pakistan along with a group of Sikh pilgrims on November 4 to attend the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. She, however, stayed in the country beyond its expiration on November 13.<\/p>\n<p>She married a Muslim, Nasir Hussain of the Sheikhupura district, during her stay in Pakistan and converted to Islam.
