Imran Khan gets bail in treason, vandalism cases. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been granted bail by a court in Islamabad in treason and vandalism cases.<\/p>\n

The former prime minister faces treason charges in one of the cases and charges of vandalism in ten other cases \u2014 all of them were registered during the PTI\u2019s long march on Islamabad on May 25.<\/p>\n

The PTI chairman appeared before sessions judge Kamran Basharat Mufti.<\/p>\n

In ten vandalism cases, Imran Khan won bail on surety bonds of Rs5,000 each.<\/p>\n

In the sedition case, he was granted bail until the first week of September. The court has also summoned Islamabad\u2019s Kohsar police with relevant records.<\/p>\n

On May 25, Imran Khan marched from Peshawar to Islamabad with his supporters to reach the D-Chowk.<\/p>\n

During the march, several trees and vehicles were set on fire.<\/p>\n

PTI Chairman\u00a0Imran Khan<\/a>\u00a0Tuesday warned of revealing the elements involved in the alleged \u201cforeign conspiracy\u201d, saying that it would harm national interests.<\/p>\n

Addressing a press conference in the federal capital, the former prime minister said that he has recorded a video which involves information about those who have committed \u201ctreason\u201d against the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am quiet for the sake of my country as I don\u2019t want it to be harmed,\u201d said Khan, adding that the video will be released as soon as something happens to him.<\/p>\n

Khan was ousted through a vote of no-confidence back in April, which he claims to be a \u201cforeign conspiracy\u201d by the United States and the then opposition.<\/p>\n

\u201cCases of corruption have been registered against the party leaders to shut them up. This country is moving towards fascism and anarchy,\u201d said the ex-premier. \u201cThe coalition government will accept Israel as a state, it will provide Pakistan\u2019s bases to the United States, and it will discard the Kashmiri people to establish better relations with India.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
