LAHORE: The Punjab School Education Department<\/a> has issued new instructions regarding the transfer of teachers, making it clear that no transfer will be allowed until the academic session is completed.<\/p>\n

According to the education department, orders have been issued to ensure strict implementation of the e-Transfer Policy 2024.<\/p>\n

The education department says that under the new policy, only those teachers who have completed at least three years in their current appointment will be eligible for transfer.<\/p>\n

This move aims to create stability in the education system and prevent students from being affected.<\/p>\n

The instructions issued by the department further state that teachers wishing to transfer must complete all their academic and administrative responsibilities before applying.<\/p>\n

These responsibilities include preparing examination results, timely declaration of results and holding parent-teacher meetings.<\/p>\n

According to the education department, teachers will have to obtain a regular certificate from their respective head teachers to confirm that they have completed their responsibilities.<\/p>\n

The instructions have clarified that without this certificate, no teacher\u2019s transfer request will be approved nor will they be dismissed from their current posting.<\/p>\n

The School Education Department has warned that in case of violation of the e-transfer policy, the concerned District Education Officer (DEO) will be responsible and action can be taken against him.<\/p>\n

The Education Department has directed all Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) across the province to ensure complete and effective implementation of the e-transfer policy and take any violation seriously.<\/p>\n

Officials say that the aim of these measures is to maintain continuity in educational activities and prevent educational loss of students.<\/p>\n
