The organization says that under the Taliban regime, women have been completely excluded from public life.<\/p>\n<p>Girls are being deprived of their basic right to education, which poses serious risks to the future of an entire generation. Citing the statement of British MP Alice McDonald, the report said that Afghan women and girls are currently facing a catastrophic situation.<\/p>\n<p>According to UNESCO, an agency of the United Nations, approximately 2.2 million girls are still deprived of school in Afghanistan.
