ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif<\/a> has launched a free laptop scheme for university students across Pakistan to improve digital inclusion.<\/p>\n

Students are required to register online for the scheme using this portal: https:\/\/laptop.pmyp.gov.pk\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As per the rules, students of colleges affiliated to public sector universities\/HEIs are not eligible to apply for the laptop scheme under PMYLS Phase-III. If anyone registers, their application will be automatically rejected.<\/p>\n

PM Laptop Scheme Application Status 2026<\/h2>\n

The government has updated the online application portal, allowing students track the status of their applications with ease and manage their profile directly from your dashboard.<\/p>\n

Qualified for Merit List<\/strong><\/td>\nThe student\u2019s application has been deemed acceptable for inclusion in the Provisional and Final Merit List.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Merit Status:<\/strong><\/td>\n\u2014<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Selected<\/strong><\/td>\nThe student has been selected on merit to receive the laptop award.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Not Selected<\/strong><\/td>\nThis status indicates that the student was not selected after the eligibility checks were applied during merit list creation.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Asset Already Issued<\/strong><\/td>\nThe student has previously received a laptop under any current or past scheme\/phase. For any issues, contact the university representative.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Waiting<\/strong><\/td>\nThe student is on standby for a laptop award. If any selected student is disqualified or drops out, the student with a \u201cWaiting\u201d status may be selected. However, this status does not guarantee the award.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
