The cabinet has formed a cabinet committee to consider the new design of currency notes.<\/p>\n<p>It was informed in the briefing that the new currency notes are being designed in accordance with modern requirements. The services of international experts have been sought for the design of the notes.<\/p>\n<p>The cabinet was informed that new notes of 100, 500, 1000 and 5000 rupees will be introduced.
