ANKARA: Turkiye has also accepted US President Donald Trump\u2019s invitation to participate in the \u2018Board of Peace\u2019.<\/p>\n
According to a foreign news agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will represent Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the \u2018Board of Peace\u2019.<\/p>\n
President Trump invited President Erdogan to join the board along with other world leaders.<\/p>\n
The Turkish president confirmed to reporters in parliament that Hakan Fidan will join the board.<\/p>\n
The official ceremony of the \u2018Board of Peace\u2019 chaired by President Trump, will be held on Thursday on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum\u2019s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.<\/p>\n
It was also reported earlier that Hakan Fidan is also a member of a separate \u2018Gaza Executive Board\u2019, which includes US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, President Trump\u2019s special envoy Steve Witkoff, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Trump\u2019s son-in-law Jared Kushner.<\/p>\n
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Hakan Fidan will attend the signing ceremony on Thursday and will represent Turkey at the highest level in the \u2018Board of Peace\u2019.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Israel, Morocco and Egypt have also accepted the invitation to join the \u2018Board of Peace\u2019.<\/p>\n
