ISLAMABAD: \u201cShukra\u201d was formally inaugurated for the latest monitoring of passport application<\/a>s. The new system will be able to monitor every stage from application to delivery.<\/p>\n

According to the details, the Federal Interior Minister visited the Directorate General Immigration and Passports, where the latest monitoring system \u201cShukra\u201d for passport applications, printing and performance was formally inaugurated.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that the Pakistan passport system has now been adapted to the systems of the best countries in the world. The new system will enable real-time monitoring of passport applications and delivery in Pakistan and around the world. It will be possible to monitor every stage from application to delivery of the passport.<\/p>\n

The Interior Minister said that our goal is to ensure the provision of world-class fast and secure services to citizens. The modern monitoring system will further improve the performance of the Passport Department.<\/p>\n

He said that the security features of Pakistani passports have been made according to ICAO standards, modern automatic German machines have increased the efficiency of the department, and human intervention has been completely eliminated from the passport printing process with automatic machines.<\/p>\n

The Interior Minister visited the e-monitoring room, call center, forensic lab and modern production unit. He was told in the briefing that the digital integrated dashboard will monitor and evaluate daily operations and the performance of all staff. Under the new monitoring system, rush in passport offices will also be automatically identified.<\/p>\n

It was further said in the briefing that the backlog and machinery status will also be monitored under the network management system.<\/p>\n

A 24\/7 monitoring room and call center have also been activated in the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports.<\/p>\n

On the instructions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Emergency Travel Document system was also digitized. The Interior Minister was given a detailed briefing about the Secure Hybrid Intelligence for Knowledge Band Response Analytics (SHAKRA) system.<\/p>\n
