MG reduces prices of top selling EV variants

KARACHI: MG Pakistan has revealed special short-term discounts on two of its electric cars, the MG4 Excite and the MG ZS EV Short Range, lowering prices by over Rs. 1.3 million per car.

The MG4 Excite is now priced at Rs. 8.49 million compared to its initial price tag of Rs. 9.79 million, the company said. The MG ZS Short Range has been lowered from Rs. 10.99 million to Rs. 9.69 million.

MG Pakistan has launched two of its electric cars, the MG4 Excite and the MG ZS EV Short Range, with limited-time discounts, lowering prices by over Rs. 1.3 million per unit.

The MG4 Excite is currently being sold for Rs. 8.49 million, down from its original price of Rs. 9.79 million, the company said. The price of the MG ZS Short Range has been lowered from Rs. 10.99 million to Rs. 9.69 million.

The promotion is only for a limited number of units, although no time limit has been provided to avail the offer. The MG4 Excite features a 64kWh battery, WLTP range of up to 435 kilometers, and supports DC fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes.

It also has heated seats, a 360-degree camera, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging provision, and MG Pilot driver technology.

The MG ZS EV has a marginally higher WLTP range of 440 kilometers from a 72.6kWh battery. The car takes around 35 minutes to charge to 80 percent with a fast charger.
