KARACHI: United Motorcycles has launched its new United 70cc model, priced at Rs. 111,000 in the domestic market.

The company claims the motorcycle boasts “high-standard build quality, best ride performance in town, and the best price in town. ” The launch announcement does not stress technical or mechanical improvements.

This indicates that the new model seems to be more of a sticker and cosmetic upgrade, a usual practice with motorcycle manufacturers in Pakistan.

United, Pakistan’s No.1 national brand, still markets the 70cc as one of the most economical and popular motorcycles in the country.

Key Features of United 70cc (New Model)

  • Engine Type: 4-Stroke OHC Single Cylinder, Air Cooled
  • Displacement: 78cc
  • Compression Ratio: 8.1:1
  • Front Brake: Drum Mechanical
  • Rear Brake: Drum Mechanical

  • Tyre Front: 2.25-17/4PR
  • Tyre Rear: 2.50-17/4PR
  • Battery: 12 Volt

Nothing seems to have changed regarding specifications, even with the tag of a “new model,” with the only visible change being newer visuals and stickers.
