MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) government has announced 25 and 20% raise in the salaries of its employees and 15% in pension in the next fiscal year, here on Tuesday.
As per the details, the Minister for Finance Abdul Majid Khan presented the budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 of over Rs264 billion with a development outlay of Rs44bn.
As the total income from revenue sources has been estimated Rs201.17bn, the deficit is expected to be met with the grants provided by the Federal Government.
The minister said Rs14.95bn had been earmarked for the health department and Rs10.81bn for the energy and water resources department for their non-development expenditures.
