LAHORE: Recently, the price of chicken in the city of Lahore in Punjab has decreased, due to which the overall inflation has decreased.
Over the weekend, the cost of chicken in Lahore, Rawalpindi and various other cities in Punjab decreased to Rs501 per kilogram.
Last week the price of chicken was Rs 550 per kg. Now the official rates are listed at Rs 501 per kg, but many poultry shops are selling meat at around Rs 530 per kg.
Chicken is generally cheap, and its price varies based on a number of factors including supply and demand. The prices of chicken are monitored by the Lahore district government.
