Lahore: Poultry prices are rising in Punjab despite Eid-ul-Adha, the festival of sacrifice, which has seen an increase in meat consumption.
The rate list shared by the local administration shows the increase in the price of chicken in the last few days.
The per kg price of chicken meat has seen an increase of around Rs.30 per kg.
The wholesale rate of chicken has been fixed at Rs 330 and the price of chicken meat is Rs 514. On June 10, the rate of chicken was Rs 485 per kg.
