KARACHI: A significant leadership transition at Meezan Bank Limited (MEBL) as the Board announces the appointment of Dr. Syed Amir Ali as President & Chief Executive Officer, effective 30 December 2025.

This marks an important chapter for Pakistan’s largest Islamic bank, built on the strong and visionary foundation laid by Mr. Irfan Siddiqui, the founding President & CEO. His remarkable leadership transformed Meezan Bank into a benchmark institution for Islamic banking, governance, and customer trust in Pakistan.

We welcome Dr. Syed Amir Ali and wish him every success in leading the bank forward. With his extensive experience and strategic insight, we are confident that Meezan Bank will continue its journey of sustainable growth, innovation, and excellence while upholding the core values of Shariah-compliant banking.
Best wishes to both leaders on this important transition.
