Gold prices drop in Pakistan following global decline

KARACHI: After the decline in gold prices in the global market, gold also became cheaper in the local market.

According to the Jewelers Association, gold per tola in Pakistan became cheaper by Rs 7,538 to Rs 437,362, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 6,463, due to which 10 grams of gold is being sold for Rs 374,967.

It should be noted that gold prices have been continuously declining for the last three days. Due to this, gold prices have fallen below their highest levels.

On the other hand, the biggest decline in the price of gold per ounce in 5 years was recorded in the global market yesterday.

According to the news agency, the price of gold per ounce in the global market decreased by $250. The price of gold fell by 5.3 percent to $4,115 per ounce. On Monday, the price per ounce was at its highest level of $4,381.
