KARACHI: Gold prices continued their downward trend for the third consecutive day in both local and international markets, providing some relief to buyers.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola in the local market declined by Rs1,469, bringing it down to Rs467,816.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,323 to Rs411,012.
Silver prices also witnessed a notable decline, with the rate per tola falling by Rs67 to Rs7,730.
Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold dropped by $14.69 per ounce, settling at $4,453 per ounce.
Market analysts attribute the decline to fluctuations in global bullion markets and changing investor sentiment, which continue to influence precious metal prices worldwide.
