ISLAMABAD: After a day of stability, gold became expensive again, silver became cheaper.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, gold became more expensive by Rs 1,100 per tola in the local market to Rs 491,462, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 943 to Rs 421,349.
While the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 50 to Rs 7,744, on the other hand, gold became more expensive by $ 11 per ounce to $ 4,687 in the global market.
