ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a decline of Rs1,600 and was sold for Rs347,100 on Monday, compared to Rs348,700 on the previous trading day.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat also fell by Rs1,368 to Rs297,582 from Rs298,950, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat fell from Rs274,047 to Rs272,784.
The rates of silver per tola and ten grams remained stable at Rs3,497 and Rs2,998, respectively.
According to the association, the price of gold in the international market fell from $3,305 to $3,289 on December 16, while the price of silver was recorded at $32.97.
