ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs. 200 and was sold at Rs. 292,400 on Monday against its sale at Rs. 292,200 on previous trading day, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
Today’s increase means that the current price of the precious metal in the local market is at its highest level ever.
The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold also became expensive by Rs 171. From Rs 250,685 to Rs 250,514, while the price of 10 grams of 22-carat rose to Rs. 229,802 to Rs 229,646.
The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 5 to Rs 3,265, while the price of ten grams of silver decreased by Rs 5. From Rs 4 to Rs 2,799.
