Benazir Kafalat Program simplifies eligibility, payment checks for families
KARACHI: An important alert has been issued for the deserving women of the Benazir Income Support Program, saying that the last date for obtaining a free “Benazir Mobile SIM” has been extended to June 30.
According to the details, an important message was issued by the government for the deserving women receiving financial assistance under the Benazir Income Support Program.
According to the officials, in the future, all the scholarships received under BISP will now be paid exclusively through the digital wallet established on the “Benazir Mobile SIM”.
For the convenience and guidance of the deserving women, the authorities have extended the last date for obtaining a free “Benazir Mobile SIM” to June 30.
All such women who have not yet obtained their specific Benazir Mobile SIM have been directed to immediately visit the nearest office with their original national identity card and personal mobile phone and obtain their free SIM.
Officials said that exactly 5 days after receiving the SIM, the eligible women should visit the nearest retailer of the concerned bank and get their digital wallet activated so that they do not face any problem in receiving the money in the future.
In addition, those women who have already received their Benazir SIM have also been urged to get their digital wallet activated immediately so that there is no hindrance or delay in the payment of their upcoming benefits.
