Gold prices decrease Rs2,300 per tola in Pakistan

ISLAAMABAD: Gold markets in Pakistan registered volatility after global markets also saw decline in prices, here on Wednesday.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs2,300, bringing it down to Rs341,900 in Pakistan.

In Karachi, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,972, now standing at Rs293,124. According to gold dealers, the easing of the US-China tariff dispute has triggered a reversal in gold demand. In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $23 per ounce, settling at $3,235.

The price of silver metal per tola stood at 3482.
