ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline of Rs 2,100 on Tuesday, reflecting global market trends.
According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), in the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs 2,100 to Rs 274,900.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw a major decline of Rs 1,800 to Rs 235,682.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a decline of $ 21 on Tuesday, reaching $ 2,637 per ounce with an additional premium of $ 20.
However, the price of silver in the local market remained stable at Rs 3,400 per tola.
