KARACHI: On Wednesday, gold prices continued to rise in Pakistan’s local market, in line with the rising trend in the international market.
According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs 1,000 to Rs 277,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 858, with the new rate set at Rs 237,483.
The price of the precious metal in the international market increased by $ 10 as its price is going up to $ 2,652 per ounce.
Meanwhile, no change was seen in the prices of silver in the local market where the rate per tola is Rs 3,350 while 10 grams is being sold for Rs 2,872.08.
A day ago, the price of gold per tola also increased by Rs 1,000 to Rs 276,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams increased by Rs. 857, with the new rate set at Rs. 236,652.
