Govt reduces petrol prices for next 15 days: Here’s Updated rates from Sep 16

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced reduction in petrol prices, here on Monday.

As per the details, the price of petrol has been decreased by 2.07 PKR per litre while high-speed diesel will see a reduction of 3.04 PKR per litre, while will be effective from tonight, October 1, 2024.

Additionally, the price of light diesel oil has been lowered by 1.03 PKR per litre, and kerosene will now cost 3.57 PKR less per litre.

From June 1, 2024, to October 1, 2024, petrol price has dropped a total of 21.23 PKR per litre, and diesel prices have decreased by 18.67 PKR per litre.

Following the latest adjustments, petrol will now be priced at 247.03 PKR per litre, down from 249.10 PKR, while diesel will be available at 246.29 PKR per litre, reduced from 249.69 PKR.

Kerosene prices will now stand at 154.90 PKR per litre, down from 158.47 PKR, and light diesel oil will cost 140.90 PKR per litre, reduced from 141.93 PKR.

The new prices will take effect tonight at midnight, providing immediate relief to consumers.
