ISLAMABAD: The interest rates of national savings schemes have been revised from 10.68% to 10.92% per annum.
The interest rate on the Special Savings Certificate has been increased from 10.40% to 10.60% per annum.
The interest rates on Behbood Savings Certificate, Pensioners Benefit Account, and Shuhada Family Welfare have been reduced.
This rate has been reduced from 12.96% to 12.72% per annum.
In addition, the interest rate on Defense Savings Certificate has been further reduced, while the interest rate on Sarva Islamic Term Account and Sarva Islamic Savings Accounts has been increased from 9.94% to 10.30% per annum for 3 years and 10.56% for 5 years.
The interest rate on savings accounts has been maintained at 9.50% and no changes have been made, while the new interest rate has been implemented from November 4.
