ISLAMABAD: The government is expected to raise petroleum prices following a surge in global crude oil prices caused by escalating tensions between the United States and Iran.
According to sources, petrol is likely to become Rs13 per litre more expensive, while diesel may see an increase of Rs14 per litre.
The revised prices are expected to take effect from 12:00 midnight tonight, with the official notification likely to be issued later tonight.
