LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore is also conducting the first annual examination of Class 10 (Matric) 2025 from March 4.
This year, the exams are held in the holy month of Ramadan, so people are hoping that there will be some change in the timings. However, the Lahore Board has announced that there will be no change in the timings of the papers.
The board conducts several papers of Class 10 in two shifts – morning and evening – due to the large number of students.
On the first day of the exams, papers of Arabic, Geography will be taken in the first group, while papers of Islamic History, History of Pakistan, Woodworking and Art and Model Drawing (Theory) will be taken in the second shift.
However, the exams for English Compulsory, Urdu Compulsory, Islamiat Compulsory, Pakistan Studies, Tarjamatul Quran, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, General Science, Mathematics (Science Group), Mathematics Arts Group, Advanced Islamic Studies, Punjab and Elements of Home Economics will be held in both the morning and evening exams of March. Lahore Board.
As per the official date sheet, the morning shift papers will start from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM as students will be given two and a half hours to complete the paper.
However, the evening shift exams will start from 2:00 PM and will continue till 4:30 PM.
Meanwhile, it is mandatory for all government and private students to bring their roll number slips to appear for the exam as the authorities will not allow them to enter the exam centre without it.
