BISE Lahore launches software to appoint exam staff

BISE Lahore Class 9 Fee Update

LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has launched an automation system for the Matriculation exam to ensure transparency throughout the examination process.

The cutting-edge software system will be used to deploy examination staff, including superintendents, deputy superintendents, and invigilators.

As per details, a zone-wise centralised data bank of 100,000 teachers had been established and under the automation, the computer selected one among the five names for each of the 54 zones of the BISE Lahore.

The software autonomously allocates duties to examination staff without user intervention, reducing the risk of favoritism and cheating, prevalent in the manual appointment process.

The upcoming matric exams 2025, starting from March 4, will be facilitated by 920 examination centers accommodating 568,854 students from both Science and General Groups.

To maintain the integrity of the examination process, blacklisted, retired, and private staff will not be appointed.

Talking to the media, BISE Lahore Controller Examinations Dr M Zahid Mian said that the new automated system ended nepotism in assigning duties to the exam staff making the process more transparent and efficient.
