ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thundershowers in various cities.
According to the Meteorological Department, humid winds coming from the Arabian Sea are entering the upper and central regions of the country, while the westerly wind is also affecting the upper regions, due to which rain is likely in some areas.
The weather will remain hot and humid in most districts of Punjab, however, rain with wind and thundershowers is expected at a few places in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Narowal and Okara.
The weather will remain hot and humid in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while there is a possibility of rain in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kalam, Malam Jabba, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Parachinar, Banir, Peshawar, Kurram, Kohat and Waziristan.
In addition, the weather will remain hot and humid in most districts of Sindh, while there is a possibility of intense heat during the day in the central and upper districts. However, partly cloudy weather with wind and thunderstorms has been predicted in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mithi, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Karachi and coastal areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain hot and humid in most districts of Balochistan, however, rain may occur at a few places in Khuzdar, Zhob and adjacent areas. In addition, rain has also been predicted in some areas of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
