LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has postponed the admission/enrollment of class 9th for session 2025-27.
According to a notification from the Lahore board, educational institutions can now enroll students of the 9th grade up to July 20. Government and private candidates will be able to sit the board exam in the year 2026 after registration.
The Lahore board spokesperson informed that registration with a penalty of Rs600 can be made after July 20. The deadline for registration with a penalty has been fixed as August 4.
BISE Lahore Class 9 Admission Fee
The BISE Lahore has set the class 9 enrollment fee at Rs1,150, processing fee Rs8,70 and sports fee Rs280, taking the overall admission fee to Rs2,300 per student.
Private students and public institutions will have to file bank fees challan, online data entry, enrollment returns’ hardcopy, and other documents with the board between April 15 and June 20, 2025.
In case they are late, they can file the said documents with a late fee of Rs600 per student between June 21 and August 4, 2025.
In case of missing the submission of the admission within the second deadline, the applicants will have to pay three times the fee and Rs600 daily in lieu of fine.
Minimum Age for Admission in Class 9
All students of government and private schools must be 11 years and two months old as of August 2025 when they apply for class 9.
The board declared that it is compulsory to fill in the CNIC of either one of the parents or the guardian and the B-form number of the students while the online enrollment process.
