ISLAMABAD: As the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest continues in the federal capital, the Rawalpindi district administration has announced another holiday for educational institutions in the city for tomorrow (Wednesday).
Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Hassan Waqar Cheema issued a notification in this regard. “All private and public educational institutions in Rawalpindi will remain closed on Wednesday, November 27,” the notification read.

The notification, further, stated that the decision was taken on the recommendations of the District Intelligence Committee in view of the law and order situation.
The Private School Association announced that all private schools would remain closed in Islamabad on Wednesday amidst the ongoing political unrest and security situation in the city.
The decision to close schools has been made in light of the current situation, the official said and added that the notification would apply to all private educational institutions in the federal capital.
