LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday ruled that private schools and colleges will be responsible for providing pick-and-drop services to students in the province.
The court directed the private educational institutions of the province to provide pick and drop to the students.
In its order, the court said that ‘Private educational institutions should also provide pick and drop facility, action should be taken against institutions that do not comply with this requirement.
The court set a clear deadline for schools and colleges to arrange buses for transportation of students.
Organizations that do not implement pick and drop services will face fines.
