PMDC opens registration for MDCAT 2026

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) announced the registration window for the upcoming Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT), with the online application process officially opening today.

MDCAT registration will be open with the standard fee until July 8, 2026, and with the late fee until July 13, 2026. Pakistan’s upcoming Medical and Dental College Admission Test is scheduled to take place nationwide on August 16, 2026.

The MDCAT will comprise 180 MCQs, which include 81 MCQs from Biology, 45 MCQs from Chemistry, 36 MCQs from Physics, nine MCQs from English, and nine MCQs from Logical Reasoning.

Moreover, the MDCAT paper difficulty will be 15% easy, 70% moderate, and 15% difficult. In Lahore and throughout Punjab, MDCAT will be conducted across 15 cities, part of a nationwide framework developed to make participation convenient for candidates.
