Pakistani students living aboard will now be eligible for PMDC quota system

Bangladesh allocates 23 medical seats for Pakistani students

The quota system will now apply to Pakistani students living abroad for admissions into medical colleges. As per revised regulations by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), the policy of admission has been amended.

Under the amendment, students with dual nationality, a green card, an iqama, or a maple card will be eligible for admission into medical colleges under the overseas quota.

Furthermore, the previous condition that included overseas quotas only for those students who completed their FSc abroad has also been abolished.

This move will reportedly pave the way for more Pakistani students living abroad to pursue medical education.
