LAHORE: The preliminary dates for the results of the matriculation annual examinations across the province have been finalized, after which the wait for the announcement of the results has become clearer among students, parents, and educational institutions.

According to sources, all the education boards of Punjab have completed the consultation on the schedule of the matriculation examination results.

According to the preliminary schedule, the annual results of the tenth grade are likely to be released on August 6, while the results of the ninth grade can be released on September 2.

The process of preparing the results is underway by the education boards, and the work of checking the papers, verifying the marks, and compiling the results is being completed in various stages.

Sources say that the final approval for the announcement of the results will be given soon, after which all the boards will officially announce the dates.

Students from across Punjab participated in the matriculation annual examinations in large numbers this year. After the results are announced, tenth-grade students will be able to submit applications for admission to colleges, while ninth-grade students will be able to review their academic performance and prepare for the tenth-grade exams next year in a better way.

According to sources, the matriculation second annual exams will begin on October 6. Students who are unable to pass the annual exams or want to improve their scores will be able to appear for the second annual exams. The admission schedule for these exams is also likely to be announced soon.

On the other hand, the formal registration of students for the eighth board exams in Punjab will begin from May 25. The last date for registration has been set for July 8.

In this regard, the concerned authorities have issued instructions to school heads to provide accurate and complete data of students so that there is no error or delay in the registration process.

According to PECTA officials, school heads should enter the names of students, parental information, B form number, date of birth, and other necessary details correctly. Students may face difficulties during the examination process if they provide incorrect information.
