PPP’s Chaudhry Qasim Majeed elected to AJK assembly with 12,904 Votes

MUZAFFARABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Chaudhry Qasim Majeed has been elected as a member of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly after securing 12,904 votes.

His opponent, Azeem Bakhsh Chaudhry of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), finished second with 8,142 votes. Chaudhry Qasim Majeed won the seat by a margin of 4,762 votes.
