Punjab reveals annual exam schedule 2025 for Class 9 , 10

LAHORE: In an educational move, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has drafted a provisional date sheet for the conduct of the coming matriculation exams commencing from March 4, 2025.

The annual matriculation examinations will begin with Arabic and History as the first paper on March 4, 2025, while the last paper, Punjabi, will be conducted on March 24, 2025.¹ The exams of class 9 will commence on March 25, 2025, with English, the compulsory subject, as the starting paper, and end on April 18, 2025, with Punjabi as the last one.

The Eid-ul-Fitr holidays are likely to be observed from March 29 to April 3, 2025, giving the students a buffer to catch their breath doing exams. Following this period, the practical exams will commence on April 23, 2025.

This consolidated timetable formulated by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen will just be embraced by all educational boards of the province, thus facilitating a systematic examination process.

The matriculation exams are expected to close with the announcement of results by July 15, 2025.
