KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced winter holidays for all educational institutions across the province.
According to the Steering Committee, the winter vacations are scheduled from December 22 and will continue till December 31, 2024. According to the details, winter vacations will be effective in all public and private educational establishments.

The committee also discussed the schedule for next summer’s vacations, and they all agreed that they should be scheduled during the hottest summer months to provide some ease to the students from hot weather.
The summer vacations for the year 2025 will be effective from June 01 to July 31, 2025.
Moreover, the attendees in the meeting looked upon several other issues related to the educational system and drew key timetables for important events in the upcoming year 2025 including the planning of matriculation and intermediate exam timetable, which was later disclosed by the authorities during the conference.
It was decided by the members of the conference that the results of the matriculation exam would be released on July 15, 2025, and the intermediate results would be released on August 15, 2025.
In contrast, Sindh’s schools will begin their new school year on April 1, 2025, and colleges will begin theirs on August 1, 2025.
