LAHORE: In an educational development, the Punjab Education Department has initiated the procedure to outsource 2,903 government schools during third phase of privatization on Wednesday.
The third phase will see the privatization of improved high schools and the outsourcing of a school with 100 students and two teachers.
During the third phase, all middle and high schools in the province that are currently operating without instructors will also be outsourced.
It is important to note that approximately 5863 government schools were outsourced in the first phase, while 4453 schools were outsourced in the second.
In the third phase, about 13,000 government jobs will be privatized. Only 35,000 government schools would remain for the Punjab government after the outsourcing process is finished.
