LAHORE: The Punjab University has increased the fees for several programs up to 59 percent, with effect from this month.
According to the university administration, the fee hike was approved by the syndicate. This increase will be applied to major programs offered by the institution.
LLM fees have risen by Rs 7,825, representing a 59% increase over the previous year. The fees for BSc, BCom, BBA, and MBA courses have been increased by 15%.
D Pharmacy fees have increased from Rs 18,000 to Rs 23,000, while LLB fees have risen by 28%. Medical graduation fees have increased by 16%.
The overall increase in fees for major public universities in the country is now at 28%.
